We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer who will function in a design/technical implementation capacity on new, multi-tiered software applications.

This person will be responsible for the development, implementation and support of the server-side infrastructure and web applications.

• BSCS or BSEE required; MSCS preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development in a Unix/Linux applications environment
• Experience developing enterprise class server-side applications and web based applications in a J2EE environment
• Experience with J2EE, Oracle, database abstraction layers, configuration management tools (i.e. SVN, CVS)
• Experience with network programming, including sockets, TCP/IP, UDP and related networking protocols.
• Experience with Web Services and related protocols. (HTTP, WebDav, XML, XLST, SOAP)
• Strong object oriented design and development skills
• Multi-threading application development using Java
• Proficient in Java, XML, and scripting languages
• Able to work in fast pace, high performance development environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
